A Note from Our Founder: Nashville Business Journal
Almost a decade ago, while I was running a fast-paced entertainment PR firm, my life came to an abrupt halt that we all believe we are immune to. I was struck by a devastating illness that left me bedridden and unable to care for myself for nearly two years. During that time, I truly believed my life as I knew it was over.
What I didn’t realize then was that my experience was far from unique. Millions of people across the U.S. are living with complex chronic conditions, struggling to find their needs met within the existing healthcare system. My journey through illness taught me resilience on a level I never imagined and ultimately shaped the leader and entrepreneur I am today.
With my background in public relations and my personal experience as a complex chronic disease patient, I founded Moresco Public Relations + Communications Public Relations to focus on patient-centered healthcare communications that also deliver meaningful results for our clients.
Being recognized by Nashville Business Journal and named to their 40 Under 40 list is an honor I could have never dreamed of when I was at my sickest.
This recognition is not just a personal milestone—it’s a powerful validation that patients with complex chronic diseases and disabilities matter, and their stories deserve to be heard- and- we can do great things.
